Day 1 PRISTINA ARRIVAL
Arrival at the Pristina International Airport and transfer with all possible assistance by modern VAN to the hotel. Check- in at the hotel and depending on the time of arrival, short city tour or free time for individual activities. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Prishtina.
Day 2 PRISTINA Locco
Breakfast at the hotel. Pristina city tour including main sites: the Ottoman period mosques of Pristina with probably the most beautiful, being the Fatih Mosque dating back to 1461 during the golden rule of Sultan Mehmet II. Nearby is Pristina’s oldest building, the Çarshia Mosque completed in 1389, the Clock Tower, the Monument of Scanderbeg (Albanian National Hero) and Kosovo Government building, and the striking monument of nine brightly painted steel letters spelling out the word ‘N.E.W.B.O.R.N’ hastily designed to be the focal point of February 2008’s declaration of independence from Serbia. Overnight in Pristina.
Day 3 PRISTINA- SHKODER- BUDVA
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure to Budva. Breakfast at hotel and check out. Departure to Shkoder. Arrival Shkoder, proceed for guided walking tour of old town of Shkoder – visit the Mosque traditional road build in the XXth century which bears the distinctive architectural characteristic of the museum area and Rozafa castle. Halal lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Montenegro and city of Budva (+/- 110km: +/- 2Hours). Arrival to Budva, check in hotel. Halal dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Budva.
Day 4 BUDVA- KOTOR- DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Half day city tour: Old town Budva, which is inside of the stone walls. Visit the old Enterance, Square of the poet, Square of the churches. Beach. Free time for shopping. Proceed to Kotor. Visit Kotor, Medieval town on Adriatic coast which is also surrounded by stone walls. Kotor is also one of the largest beys on Adriatic which attracts many cruise ships. Lunch in the Kotor Old Town (Seafood), proceed to Lepetane for using the Ferry to the other side. Proceed to Dubrovnik (115km/2 hours). Arrival, check in hotel. City tour of this UNESCO protected pearl of the Adriatic and its Cathedral, Rector’s Palace, Franciscan Monastery (included Old Pharmacy), Clock Tower, Orlando’s Columns. Halal dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 5 DUBROVNIK- TREBINJE- STOLAC- MOSTAR
Brekfast at the hotel and check out. Continue to city Trebinje. Drive through Popovo field with its river Trebišnjica – largest underground river in Europe. Enjoy in beautiful and unique karstl and scapes.
Visit Arslanagica Bridge – most beautiful bridge built in 1574, Clock tower, Sultan Ahmed pasha and Osman pasha mosque. Proceed to city Stolac which can be referred as an open-air museum. Bregava River flows through Stolac creating waterfalls, cascades and islands. The Bregava River, with its bridges and flour and filling mills, forms the backbone of urban Stolac. The town is known for its unique Ottoman architecture. Visit the most valuable buildings from that period – Begovina, residential complex of the Rizvanbegović family, Turković tower, Tekke, Old Islamic school and the Town, Podgrad, Uznović and Cuprija Mosques. Drive to Necropolis of Radimlja. Stećaks are a special type of tombstones. They represent the most interesting phenomenon, and indeed the greatest mystery of the medieval Bosnian state. In Radimlja cemetery are 133 tombstones, 63 of which are decorated – most with rich ornamentation on all four sides. Proceed to Blagaj – Buna River spring and walk through the Dervish Monastery. Halal seafood lunch at local restaurant then continue journey to Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, check in the hotel. Free at own leisure. Halal dinner and overnight in Mostar.
Day 6 MOSTAR- KONJIC- JABLANICA- SARAJEVO
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. City tour – Mostar Old Town visit Mehmet Koski Pasha Mosque, The famous Old Bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site. Free time. Continue drive to Sarajevo via Neretva Canyon and Jablaničko Lake, Short stop in Jablanica Town to take pictures of the destroyed bridge from World War 2. Arrival to Sarajevo, check-in the hotel. Halal dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 7 SARAJEVO Locco
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for tour to visit Vrelo Bosne – spring of river Bosnia, Tunnel museum – the only means of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo in last war. Walking tour of old town Bascarsija, Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the 1st World War; Brusa bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husref Bey Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husrev Bey Madrass; Morica han built in 1551; Vijecnica – town hall for the Austro-Hungarian era. Halal lunch at the local restaurant. Free afternoon for shopping. Back to hotel. Halal dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Sarajevo
Day 8 SARAJEVO- TRAVNIK- TURBE- SARAJEVO
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00h drive to city Travnik (95km). For over 150 years, the vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia – had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelers visiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. Upon arrival, visit of the Old Town, Museum (birth house of the famous Nobel prize winner Ivo Andrić) and Sulejmanija Mosque (Colorful Mosque). Halal lunch at traditional restaurant in Travnik. Back to Sarajevo. Free at leisure. Overnight in Sarajevo
Day 9 SARAJEVO- BIJAMBARE
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Bijambare site, proclaimed as protected area of the fifth grade (protected landscape) by law. It is traditionally high valued area because of its natural beauty and flora and fauna richness. The middle part of Bijambare is a karst enclave with all its commonly observed characteristics: caves, lost rivers, intriguing funnel-shaped depressions and rocky massifs. There are five caves located in three horizons, in a pretty small area. One of these caves is especially popular- the Bijambare cave, which has been a popular tourist spot and a speleological site for a long time. The cave is 420 m long (basic direction without individual branches), with four halls with rich ornaments of all known creation forms: lateral blocks, stalactites, casts, stalagmites and curtains. The fourth hall is the biggest (around 60 m in diameter and 15–30 m in height). It is also called the “music hall” for its acoustic effects. Halal lunch at local restaurant. Return to Sarajevo and free at leisure. Halal dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 10 SARAJEVO Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and free time at own leisure for last minute shopping. **Luggage will be at the reception. Transfer to airport for flight departure back.
