Even though many associate Sarajevo to the siege of the 1990s, the city has much more to offer.
Join us on a journey through the past where the guide will reveal the secrets of the city, and introduce you to the mysticism of the streets and alleys of Sarajevo.
The tour will take you to the main sights of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture and show you a unique line where east meets west. Enjoy the scent of fresh made coffee, smell from hookah, sound of church bells and call from the minarets. Learn about the assassination that triggered the First World War and discover why Sarajevo is called Jerusalem of Europe.
This tour also includes a tour to the Sarajevo War Tunnel Museum, a tunnel made with hand-tools during the Sarajevo siege that lasted from 1992-1995. The tunnel is 800m long and was used for transporting food and supplies into the city during the siege of the city. After the visit to the museum, you will be dropped off in the old town where the tour ends.
