DAY 1 SARAJEVO:
Arrival at Sarajevo airport, where your Relax Tours guide will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel, or a panoramic city tour of Sarajevo, all depending on arrival time. Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2 SARAJEVO – TRAVNIK – SARAJEVO:
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we drive to Travnik, where the Ottoman Sultan´s representitive in Bosnia, the vizier had his headquarters for over 150 years. His presence attrackted both consultates and trade, and travelers visiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. In Travnik, we visit the Old Town museum, which is the birthplace of the Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić. After the museum we continue to Sulejmanija Mosque. In Travnik, you have the oppertunity to eat a traditional Bosnian lunch. We drive back to Sarajevo in the afternoon, where we spend the night.
DAY 3 SARAJEVO:
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we visit Vrelo Bosne, spring of the Bosna river. After our visit to Vrelo Bosne, we continue to “Tunnel of hope” museum, the only way in and out of Sarajevo during the siege of the city. From the museum we drive to the city where we have a walking tour of the old town. On our tour we will visit Baščaršija, Brusa bezistan, a covered market place, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque, that was built in 1550, and Gazi Husref Bey Madrasah; Morica Han built in 1551. Optional lunch in the old town at Villa Saraj restaurant. After lunch we continue to Vijenica town hall, followed by a visit to the Sarajevo National Museum.
DAY 4 SARAJEVO – MOSTAR – POČITELJ – BLAGAJ – SARAJEVO:
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we depearture to Mostar, where we start with a city tour where we visit; Karadjoz bey mosque, Muslibegovic house, a hotel museum from the Ottoman time. Next we will take a walk through the old town and Stari Most bridge which is listed as a UNESCO heritage site. After our walk we continue to Blagaj and sightseeing of spring of Buna. In Blagaj you have the option to eat lunch at one of the best fish resturants in Bosnia. After lunch we drive to Pocitelj and explore the town. On the way back to Sarajevo we stop in Jablanica, where we will visit the museum of the Second World War.
DAY 5 SARAJEVO – ILIDŽA – BJELAŠNICA – SARAJEVO:
Breakfast at the hotel. We start the day in Vrelo Bosne, spring in the river of Bosna, whereafter we proceed to Bjalašnica mountain for a walk in the fresh mountain air. The mountain, which is just over 2000m high, has spacious slopes, which are covered with snow over 6 months a year. During the Olympic Games in 1984, the mountain was used for many of the alpine ski competitions. Optional lunch at one of the hotels on Bjelašnica mountain. After lunch we drive back to Sarajevo, where the afternoon can be used at your own desposal.
DAY 6 SARAJEVO:
Breakfast at the hotel. The day can be used at your own desposal, whether it is sitting and enjoying a cop of coffee in one of the many cooffee shops in the city, or shopping in one of the many shopping malls in Sarajevo.
DAY 7 DEPARTURE:
Breakfast and check out of hotel. Transport to Sarajevo airport.
